Known for its blend of fine and thick pile fleece with a thick strong pelt (the skin) This gives the boot its structure. Inferior boots are made from low grade skins that have thin pelts and loose pile, they quickly collapse, lose their shape, crease and tear.
They are proud to introduce water resistance sheepskin to all of our sheepskin styles. This is a fantastic innovation that not only protects your boots from water, it repels stains from the surface. The water repellent has been added through the tanning process rather than the standard spray that sits on the surface and washes away as the boot wears. This keeps your Emu’s looking the way they should for longer. The Emu insole was developed as an anatomically correct removable insole lined with sheepskin. The insole provided better support for your foot, giving your medial ligament and arch strength.
